AK' thoughts: new wave of AI tackling consumer health and personalized medicine esp after covid, application of state-of-the-art research, get involved from product conception to ship.

Snackpass - Data Science Co-op/Internship: buy anything and pick-up with friends.

AK' thoughts: restaurants are transitioning to digital and contactless takeout post-covid, support local businesses, interesting e-commerce/delivery problem with real-time implications.

National Film Board of Canada - AI and Interactive Art Internship hosted by Kory W. : use AI detect, classify, generate laughter.

AK' thoughts: kory is a good friend at DeepMind+Creative Destruction Lab (highly encourage working w/ him), unique generative modelling approach, the intersection of AI/arts/creativity is under-explored and gaining immense interest, all in all just sounds like a great time.

Snorkel AI - Machine Learning Engineer: programmatic AI labelling platform.

AK' thoughts: team out of stanford, moving-extremely fast, unbundling parts of the AI-workflow, reducing development time and cost, new active areas of research (adaptable to data-drift, auditable, privacy-preserving, related to semi-supervised learning).

Misc, Random, Interesting Opportunities:

Curate Content Intern: Outdoors gear e-commerce humanizing online shopping by pairing you with an expert.

Greylock Tech Fair: 

Greylock Techfair applications are open and students graduating after December 2021 are eligible to apply. Students will meet with engineering and product teams at top venture-backed tech startups like Figma, Nuro, Benchling, Databricks, Nextdoor, and others. Admissions are rolling and applying by May 15th is encouraged. The virtual event will take place July 22, 2021.
